Prior to working as a freelancer, I was employed by call center companies here in my country. I used to do customer support, handle technical concerns as technical support, general customer service handling, encoding, chat support and transcription. However, due to change of priorities (my family being my priority), I decided to put up my own home office and work full time from home as a freelancer.
